When it gets way too hot to handle here in San Jose, we head over the hill to Santa Cruz or Monterey. We love the coast! Too bad we don't live there anymore (pouting). Santa Cruz is just a day trip, but Monterey is an overnighter...my favorite. I love little getaways. It breaks up the predictability of my everyday, plus we get quality family time. Happy time.
Why have I never thought to go over the hill during these horrible heat waves?! Genious idea. It looks like you guys really enjoy it. :)
